Many people find that a walk in the woods or watching the sun come up is an effective way to connect with their higher power. It's not hard to see why this is so. Something outside of myself that captures my attention helps me to step away from my selfish concerns and normal, limited, point of view. While it t could be considered a form of meditation or even prayer, what matters is if it works for you.
Watch the snow falling.
Notice the leaves turning color.
See the clouds in the sky.
Hear the birds.
Smell the grass.
Listen to the wind in the trees.
Take in a mountain.
